The Sunday Series

Yesss!!!!! The first in the Sunday series is here. And this Sunday CU students didn't dull. All the current fashion trends were duly represented and I'll try to point them out.

1. Chioma 'Oma'

Today, Chioma went with a solid black background highlighted by tasteful accessories; a lace head wrap, a slim belt, a pair of suede pumps, and a structured satchel. She also went with bright red lips and eyeliner.

2.  Ayomide 'mimi'

Mimi's outfit shows how easy it is to partake in the colour-block bandwagon. You don't necessarily have to go over the top to wear a colour-blocked outfit.

 The teal green pants are lovely ...

...and the statement neck piece is just perfect (matching the satchel).

 3.. Cassandra, Bola and Priscilla
The trio look good together, but each of them owns a distinct and unique style.

• Cassandra usually goes for the sophisticated ladylike look which consists of dresses, skirts and blouses and this look is channeled here. Her tie-neck blouse sits nicely over her black straight skirt. To finish the look she goes with nude block-heeled pumps.
• Bola I'll say also channels a lady-like look but with a little bit of edge thrown in. Although today she is the picture of feminine softness with her pink gown, pearls, sweater, flats and tourqoise belt.
• Priscilla whom we all know is a great lover of fashion and style channels the retro look with a bit of hippie in a brown midi skirt, white blouse, multi-coloured sling bag with shoes to match. she balanced the look with a simple up-do.

 4. Doyin 'didi'
Doyin rocked a pink shirt with double-breasted pockets, black pants and nude Mary-janes. her accesories were simple but blended with the outfit nicely. With her signature 'doughnut', Doyin looked lovely.

5. Lily 'lilaaay'
Lily looked so cute in this outfit. The sweater with its feminine touches; a bow and pearl buttons went with the black puff skirt with white embellishments at the bottom. The black sturdy bag adds to the southern belle charm. Go girl!!!

6. Nebby and Kosol

These two complemented each other nicely but each had her own way with her oufit.

• Nebby with her red blazer and red lips and her lovely multi-cloloured shoes (sorry for not taking the shoes up-close)
• Kosol with her black and white strip blazer also with a red pout.

7. Uwaremeo 'uwa'

The smile tho'

Uwa we all know in her own crazy way loves to rock when it comes to clothes. Check out her black and white checkboard pattern blazer, black pants and pointed flats. Her madt hairstyle crowns the look with a red pout also.
